​​​​​​​Tree Planting in the Turgen Gorge within the Framework of the Republican Environmental Campaign "Taza Kazakhstan"

On April 21, 2025, as part of the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" on SDG 15 "Conservation of terrestrial ecosystems", an event of ecologically important importance was held. The tree planting initiative took place in the Turgen Gorge, located on the slopes of the Ile Alatau Mountains, organized by the Ile-Alatau State National Natural Park.

To promote the sustainable use of natural resources, seedlings of Sievers apple trees, apricots, and Scots pines were planted. The event was attended by director of the Department of international cooperation and internationalization Omirzhanov Esbol Toktarbayevich, specialist of recreation and tourism of the Turgen branch Dyusembiev Darkhan Batyrkhanovich, forest Masters Alimov Asubek Elubayevich., Nikolay Petrovich Rostovtsev. Kazbekovich Sultanov, environmentalist-educator Nietaliva Zhanargul Aibolatovna, state inspectors Temirkhanov Nazar Yerlanovich, Segizbayev Duman Zhumartovich, 2nd year students of the educational program of Ecology, head of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development Bazarbayeva T. A., as well as teachers of the Department Mukanova G. A. and Kurbanova L. S. took an active part.

This initiative, held in the heart of nature, marked an important step towards fostering environmental culture and enhancing students’ responsibility for the state of the environment.

Participants planted fruit and coniferous trees, demonstrating in practice the importance of harmonious coexistence with nature.
