The Department of Economics held a curatorial hour on the topic "Ludomania is a disease of society" with 2nd year students of the bachelor's degree 6B04103-Economics in the direction of TDM 3 "Health and Well-being". Ludomaniacs are people suffering from gambling addiction. The term "ludomania" has become widespread since the rapid development of casinos and bookmakers. Gambling addiction is included in the list of diseases according to the International Classification of Diseases. Ludomania is a pathological addiction to gambling, which plays a dominant negative role in a person's life, leading to a decrease in social, professional, material and family values.
