EDUCATIONAL EVENT: “FIRST STEPS INTO SCIENCE: BEGINNING AND DEVELOPMENT”

On April 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM, an educational event titled “First Steps into Science: Beginning and Development” was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business, in auditorium 217.

This event was organized and conducted as part of pedagogical practice by first-year Master’s students of the “Finance” program — Kussainova Aliya, Amalyat Balzhan, and Turdybek Syndar — under the guidance of lecturer Asilova Aizhan Sarsenovna.

The goal of the event was to introduce students to the basics of scientific research, demonstrate how to start working on research projects, and build confidence in the research process. A thematic presentation was delivered, offering practical advice and recommendations on the structure of a research paper, topic selection, and research methods. The session also included an open discussion with participants.

First-year students of the “Finance” program from groups F24K1 and F24K2 (a total of 40 students) participated in the event. It was organized in alignment with the 4th Sustainable Development Goal — “Quality Education” — promoting the advancement of education and science.

Such events contribute to the development of students’ scientific potential, enhance their research skills, and support their professional growth.
