Cooperation between Turkey and Kazakhstan in the field of Media education

Yesterday, on April 22, in honor of the celebration of the "National Independence Day and Children" in Turkey, the TURKSOY Center for Media Education and Research of the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the UNESCO Chair in Journalism and Communication organized an international event "The future of the nation is laid in childhood!".
The Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Kanat Auesbayuly, made a welcoming speech, noting that since the opening of the TURKSOY Center, cooperation between students from the two countries has increased, and recently 4 students majoring in International Journalism participated in the "Youth Camp Program" organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Education in Antalya with the financial support of the Office of Turkic Studies and related communities abroad.
After the welcoming speech, the students of the Turkish language course, opened with the support of the TURKSOY organization and the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty, sang songs and read poetry in Kazakh and Turkish, and then expressed gratitude to their teachers, Mr. Savash and Laziza Nurpeis.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the TURKSOY International Organization, Mr. Sayyid Yusuf, and the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty, Evren Mudderisoglu, who expressed their gratitude to the staff and students of the Journalism Faculty and noted that cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education and in the direction of mutual exchange of youth will continue to grow.
