Open Day at the Higher School of Economics and Business

On April 24, 2025 the Faculty of the Higher School of Economics and Business at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University the event "Open Day” for graduates of comprehensive schools, gymnasiums and lyceums of the city of Almaty was organized. The topic of the event was "Marathon of professional choice of economic specialties". During the meeting the Dean of HSE Professor Daulieva G.R., Deputy Dean of HSE Associate Professor Tazhieva S.K., and heads of faculty’s departments took the speech. The presentation on the educational programs of the Higher School of Economics and Business, an admission conditions, grants and scholarships, an academic mobility programs, an information about the student life at the faculty were discussed with participants. The moderators of the meeting were the faculty’s responsible for career guidance: associate professors Smagulov A., Turarov D., Akhmetov A., HSE faculty and school principals. The participants answered the quiz questions. The guests were given a tour of the campus, the library, and the Keremet Public Service Center. All those interested were offered to take a career guidance test and sign up for an individual consultation with the departments' teachers. In conclusion, answers on questions about preparatory courses, student life and future employment of faculty graduates were given. Such meetings with school graduates will continue.
