SDG “Gender Equality. Women in Science.”

On April 23, 2025, as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, a meeting was held with 3rd- and 4th-year students of the “Pharmacy” specialty on the topic “Gender Equality. Women in Science.”
During the event, it was emphasized that the SDGs are universally recognized guidelines aimed at eradicating poverty and hunger, combating social inequality and injustice, as well as protecting the environment and ensuring sustainable development for all humanity.
As part of the discussion with students, special attention was paid to shaping students’ understanding of the importance of gender equality in science, as well as discussing barriers and opportunities for women in the scientific field.
The event was prepared by first-year master’s students of the “Pharmacy” educational program, Akmuratkyzy Zhanbota and Bozhbanbayeva Guzel, as part of their teaching practice.
