Results Announced for the "Condensed Matter Physics and Nanomaterials Science" Section at the "Farabi Álemi" Conference

On April 3, 2025, at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of the international scientific conference "Farabi World" for students and young scientists, presentations were delivered in the "Physics of Condensed Matter and Nanomaterials" section, organized by the Department of Solid State Physics and New Materials Technology.

The event was attended by the head of the department, faculty members, students, and graduate students. The reports covered pressing issues of modern science, particularly the technologies of new materials and the application of nanomaterials.

Many of the presentations aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

• SDG 4 — Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all;

• SDG 9 — Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.

Based on the jury's decision, the following participants were awarded:

Diploma of 3rd Degree :

• Dosmukhambetova A.A. – Molecular Modification for Contact Interfaces in Highly Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells (NPU, Xi’an, China, Al-Farabi KazNU)

• Kadyrma D.S. – Study on Fluorine-Containing Molecule Modified Perovskite Films and Solar Cell Performance (NPU, Xi’an, China, Al-Farabi KazNU)

• Nurysheva A.K. – Characterization of Galvanic Sludge Particles (K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University)

Diploma of 2nd Degre:

• Imashev B.K. – Effect of an Inhibiting Compound Based on Organic Compounds on the Degree of Protection of Steel Alloys in Oilfield Equipment from Salt Deposits (Satbayev University)

• Raisov N.S. – Production of Functionally Graded Coatings Based on NiCrAlY/ZrO₂-Y₂O₃ by Detonation Spraying Method (Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University)

Diploma of 1st Degree :

• Kuandyk A.O. – Thin Films of Tungsten Oxide for Water Splitting Using Solar Energy (Al-Farabi KazNU)

Kuandyk Ayauym was selected to participate in the interfaculty competition.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for young researchers to present their scientific results and exchange ideas. It also served as a platform for inspiring creative research and fostering scientific collaboration.
