From May 5 to 13, 2025, the Scientific Week "Science, Care, and Professionalism: A Look into the Future" dedicated to the International Nurses Day will take place

Venue: Library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, aud. 409

     The Scientific Week will bring together experts from near and far abroad, professors from leading medical universities and research organizations, representatives of medical colleges, healthcare management authorities, doctors, nurses, as well as representatives of public organizations, associations, and communities. The aim is to exchange knowledge, achievements, and advanced technologies in healthcare.

Organizers of the Scientific Week:

• Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University,
• UiT The Arctic University of Norway,
• Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
• State Enterprise for Nursing under the RUMS of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Program of the Scientific Week:

• May 5–12: Seminar-training "Research Methodology in Healthcare"
• May 13: International Conference "The Global Mission of Mercy: Nursing in a Changing World," dedicated to the International Nurses.

During the Scientific Week "Science, Care, and Professionalism: A Look into the Future," the following professors from Norway will deliver in-person lectures:

1. Erik Eik Anda – UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Professor of Global Health and Epidemiology.
2. Kristin Benjaminsen Borch – UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Department of Community Medicine, Head of the Systemic Epidemiology Research Group.
