The head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, welcoming the honored guests, dwelled on the achievements of the university. In his speech, the rector also voiced a proposal for the further development of partnership relations between the two universities.
"Relations between KazNU and Iranian universities are developing at a high level. In this context, we are always ready to implement joint research projects with Tabataba'i University, exchange teachers and students through the academic mobility program, organize joint scientific conferences, and supervise students. The educational institution has a fund of rare books and manuscripts. Here, specialists study books written in Persian, Iranian, Arabic and ancient languages. I suggest that we step up this work together with researchers from the University of Tabataba'i. In addition, scientists and researchers from Iran work at KazNU. Therefore, it is necessary to combine the efforts of scientists from the two universities", - said the rector.
In turn, Mandana Tishehyar thanked the management and staff of the educational institution for their attention and made a number of suggestions aimed at enhancing cooperation.
"My first visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University gave me an unforgettable experience. I was surprised to see the scientific potential of the university. In this regard, I propose to publish together with KazNU a magazine "Nauryz" dedicated to the humanitarian field. In it, we will publish scientific papers and articles by scientists from two universities and other universities. I also consider it necessary to create a joint research center", - said Mandana Tishehyar.
During the meeting, both sides expressed support for all the announced initiatives and agreed to create a special working group to carry out these works.
