A Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the Research Center “Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage” and the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On May 2, 2025, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the Research Center “Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage” of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Republican State Institution “National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” This important document was signed by the Director of the Center, Shadkam Zubaida, and the Director of the National Library, Gaziza Kudaybergenkyzy Nurgaliyeva.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to collaborate in several areas, including the organization of joint scientific conferences, round tables, seminars, expert meetings, and other events, as well as the implementation of joint scientific projects. The memorandum also addressed the issues of internships for master's and doctoral students of Al-Farabi KazNU at the Rare Books Fund of the National Library, their involvement in the study of rare manuscripts, and cataloging activities.

This agreement opens new opportunities for the academic community and students, creating a solid foundation for the exploration of the nation’s written heritage and the preservation of its spiritual values.
