Implementation of joint projects with UK universities

Yerkin Duisenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board and First Vice–Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, held a meeting with a delegation from the University of Exeter in the UK.
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector informed Rachel Jones, Head of the Department of International Relations at the University of Exeter, about the activities of KazNU and noted that the university has extensive experience in working in the scientific and educational space with foreign universities.
"Today, KazNU has partnerships with 11 universities in the UK. In 2021-2024, 10 doctoral students and 25 university professors participated in various conferences, advanced training courses, and internships at universities in the UK. Also in 2021-2024, 8 scientists from the UK came to the educational institution and gave lectures. In the future, we intend to intensify cooperation with universities in the UK", - said Yerkin Duisenov.
In turn, Rachel Jones introduced the participants to new projects implemented by the University of Exeter. An initiative to carry out joint scientific research was also considered.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify partnerships with university scientists in the field of expanding opportunities for publishing research results and articles in leading world publications.
