Republican Student Subject Olympiad 2025

On April 29–30, 2025, the second stage of the Republican Student Subject Olympiad among students  was held at Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages in Almaty. More than 260 students from 27 universities across Kazakhstan participated in the competition. The Olympiad was highly competitive, with students striving to achieve the best results.

The students from Department of Turkic Studies and Language Theory at  Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University  took part in the Olympiad. The students are majoring in  Turkish Language.  The 4th-year student Ysqaq Milana won  the 3rd place. The student's academic advisor was Kanat Bakhtiyaruly Ashirkulov. Additionally, Kanat Bakhtiyaruly Ashirkulov,  the lecturer of the Department of Turkic Studies and Language Theory, was  as a member of the appeal committee  during the Olympiad.

 The participants of the Turkish language section demonstrated exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm. This section played an important role in deepening students’ competence in Turkish language and literature. The Olympiad provided valuable experience and an opportunity for  the students to contribute to the future development of Turkic language studies.
