XI International Russian-Kazakh Conference on Chemical Technologies

The XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Chemical Technologies of Functional Materials" was held in Novosibirsk, bringing together leading scientists, engineers, and industry representatives from various countries.

The event was organized by Novosibirsk State Technical University with the support of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Together, they created a space where chemistry ceased to be just a science — it became a language of cooperation, innovation, and inspiration.

The conference featured over 100 presentations and included three thematic sessions covering key areas of modern chemical science and technology:

• development and application of functional materials, including catalysts, composites, and nanostructured coatings;
• environmentally oriented technologies and principles of green chemistry;
• digitalization, modeling, and automation of chemical-technological processes;
• interaction between scientific research and the industrial sector.

Special emphasis was placed on supporting young scientists. Their unconventional ideas and fresh perspectives on pressing industry challenges sparked lively interest and hope for sustainable development of the scientific community.

The conference became a significant platform for experience exchange, establishing professional connections, and discussing prospects for international cooperation.
