The Rector met with the Director General of the Kazakh Research Institute of Eye Diseases

Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, met with the Director General of the Kazakh Research Institute of Eye Diseases, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Doctor of the highest category Neilya Aldasheva.

The parties discussed the prospects of partnership relations in the field of medicine and healthcare and exchanged views. It should be noted that KazNU and the Kazakh Research Institute of Eye Diseases have signed a memorandum of partnership. Under the agreement, both sides will work together to improve students' practical skills, hold joint conferences and forums, and conduct scientific research.

During the meeting, Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev stressed that the agreement between the university and the institute opens up wide opportunities for the implementation of large-scale projects in the future. In addition, the rector invited qualified and experienced specialists working at the Kazakh Research Institute of Eye Diseases to give lectures at the university.

In turn, Neilya Aldasheva, Director General of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases, exchanged views with university scientists, expressed confidence in the fruitfulness of bilateral cooperation in the future and stated that she supports all initiatives aimed at further strengthening the partnership.
