KazNU Representatives Served on the Jury of the International Conference SM Science Fair 2025

As part of the 5th International Scientific Conference SM Science Fair 2025, held this spring, representatives of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University — Head of the Department of Economics, PhD, Saltanat Kondybaeva, and Deputy Head of the Department, Shynggys Nurgazy — participated as members of the expert jury. Dr. Kondybaeva served as Chair of the Jury, while Nurgazy participated as a jury member in the final stage of the competition.

The event was organized by the “Alternativa SM” Foundation, with the goal of supporting and nurturing talented school students by engaging them in research activities from an early age. More than 150 students from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan, from grades 7–12, were selected to present their scientific projects in the final round.

The involvement of university representatives in the expert evaluation process helps strengthen academic cooperation between schools and universities, while also inspiring the next generation of young researchers.
