Development of interuniversity relations

A regional meeting of member universities of the Eurasia-Pacific UNINET international network was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev, President of the Eurasian-Pacific University Network – Eurasia-Pacific UNINET, Academician of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the University of Salzburg Josef Strobl, as well as leading foreign and domestic scientists and experts.
Opening the event, Zhanseit Tuimebayev welcomed the participants and thanked the permanent partners and experts for their active cooperation and contribution to the development of international scientific cooperation.
Since joining the Eurasian Pacific University Network, KazNU has been actively involved in grant projects, international workshops, and academic mobility programs. Thanks to the support of the EPU, university teachers and students completed internships at the University of Salzburg, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Joint projects are also being successfully implemented, including Geospatial Environmental Management (GEM), which has opened new educational programs and conducted transnational training.
During the plenary session, participants of the Eurasia-Pacific UNINET regional meeting of member universities addressed topical issues of scientific cooperation and the development of academic ties.
