The Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has received accreditation certificates for its educational programs from the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE), contributing to SDG 4 and SDG 9.

An official certificate awarding ceremony was held at the library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, recognizing educational programs that have successfully passed international accreditation. The event took place in Room 303 with the participation of First Vice-Rector E.E. Duisenov, faculty deans, and department heads.
The Faculty of Physics and Technology took an active part in this significant event. As a result of the dedicated work of the faculty and its departments, a number of PhD-level educational programs were officially accredited by the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE). These programs meet modern international standards in engineering, physical-technical, and scientific education, ensuring the preparation of specialists ready to face global challenges.
Accreditation not only confirms the high quality of the programs implemented by the faculty but also serves as a foundation for expanding academic mobility, strengthening international partnerships, and increasing trust from employers and the academic community.
Importantly, the accredited educational programs of the Faculty of Physics and Technology contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 4 – Quality Education, through the delivery of advanced training in nuclear physics, materials science, nanotechnology, and energy;
- SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by promoting scientific research and innovative technologies.
The Faculty of Physics and Technology expresses its sincere gratitude to the CAAAE for the high evaluation and recognition of the quality of its programs. The awarded certificates serve as a strong incentive for further development and for strengthening the faculty’s position as a leading center of technical education in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
