On 01/31/2025 at 12:00 p.m., M. K. Sarbasova, a phthisiator at 7 polyclinics, and A. B. Yelshibaev, a therapist, held a seminar on ”Acute respiratory viral infections” and “Tuberculosis prevention”. The seminar was attended by students of 1-2 courses. The main purpose of the seminar is to inform about the prevention of seasonal infectious diseases and the prevention of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza. The increase in morbidity is especially noticeable in the autumn-winter period. Influenza is an acute disease caused by a virus belonging to the group of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The first symptoms of the flu are nasal congestion, sore throat, fever, chills, cough, and weakness. Any disease must be prevented and guarded against. Therefore, at the first signs of the flu, it is advisable to call a doctor at home. In case of influenza, information and explanatory work has been carried out on the need not to visit crowded places, to observe the regime of lying at home in bed, to take the treatment prescribed by a doctor, to clean and ventilate the room daily.
