KazNU has started accepting documents from applicants
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has officially begun accepting documents from applicants for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The opening ceremony was attended by member of the Board of KazNU – Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of KazNU, Margulan Ibraimov, who noted the importance of the work of the admissions committee in the process of accepting documents.
"The work of the admissions committee has officially begun today. Our university student service center "Keremet" has created all favorable conditions for applicants and their parents. The members of the commission are fully prepared for the high-quality and efficient organization of the reception of documents. I am sure that most graduates will choose the KazNU. I wish good luck to all members of the commission", - said the acting vice–rector.
It should be noted that about 217,000 graduates are graduating from school in the country this year, which is 30,000 more than last year. In addition, the number of university applicants among graduates of previous years of schools and colleges is expected to increase.
There have been no significant changes in the admission process this year, and the structure of educational programs has been supplemented with new directions. In particular, the program "Museum business and Monument Protection" was introduced at the bachelor's level, and the directions "Geology", "Public Relations" and "Polygraphy" were introduced at the master's degree level. Additionally, on the basis of KazNU, the documents are accepted by the branch of the Russian National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and the Northwestern Polytechnic University of China. If in 2024 the branch of the NWRU accepted applicants only for the master's degree, then in 2025 admission to bachelor's and doctoral studies will be opened for the first time.
The admissions office is open daily from 9am to 6pm, on Saturday from 9am to 2pm. The commission consists of faculty specialists, experienced teachers and deputy deans. They provide professional advice on bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.
Documents are accepted at the "Keremet" Student Service Center, located on the KazNU campus at 71/21 Al-Farabi Avenue.
