Strengthening partnership with universities of Uzbekistan

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, held talks with First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shahrukh Daliyev.

The parties exchanged views on the development of partnership between KazNU and universities of Uzbekistan, as well as on achieving new opportunities in the field of education and science.

During the meeting, the head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, spoke about joint work with universities in Uzbekistan. In his speech, the rector noted that today's talks will give a new impetus to the expansion of cooperation between higher education institutions.

In turn, Shahrukh Daliyev said that the ministry is carrying out extensive work to strengthen partnerships between universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. He expressed confidence that the cooperation of the fraternal states in the field of science and higher education will reach a high level in the future.

In addition, KazNU Rector, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, held a meeting with Rector of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute Kuvandik Kadyrov. During the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for close cooperation in the future and agreed to implement joint projects.
