Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, held a meeting with Turkologists who arrived specifically to participate in the international seminar "The Turkic world and the spiritual mentor of Turkestan: the path and legacy of Yasawi"
During the meeting, issues of the development of Turkology in the world and current problems in this scientific field were discussed.
Among the guests are Vice–rector of Ankara University Haci Bayram Veli Orbay Metin, Professors Gulten Sadullah, Shahin Ilhan, Professor of Ordu University Fatih Unal, Professor of Ankara University Gundogdu Abdullah and other scientists from Turkiye.
Zhanseit Tuimebayev expressed gratitude to the honored guests for participating in the seminar "The Turkic world and the spiritual mentor of Turkestan: the path and legacy of Yasawi", which was held at KazNU. During the meeting, he noted that the university successfully operates a Scientific Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies. In this regard, the rector invited his Turkish colleagues to jointly implement scientific projects at the Institute.
In turn, the Turkish scientists, thanking for the warm welcome, noted the high level of organization of the international seminar. They expressed their willingness to develop further cooperation with KazNU scientists.
