On June 3, 2025, first-year students of the "6B05202 — Ecology" specialty at the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development of Al-Farabi KazNU, under the guidance of senior lecturer A. M. Mukhitdinov, conducted an environmental campaign "Stop Plastic" within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 — "Responsible Consumption and Production." As part of the project, they actively participated in activities to collect and reduce the use of plastic waste, contributing to the formation of a culture of responsible consumption and sustainable development. The campaign aims to raise environmental awareness and implement practices to reduce plastic pollution at the university and in the сity.
