A meeting with representatives of the Alliance for Innovative and Industrial Development (AIID) was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. It discussed areas of cooperation in the field of scientific research and industrial innovation between KazNU and AIID.
The meeting was opened by Margulan Ibraimov, Member of the Management Board, Acting Vice Rector for Research and Innovation. He noted the scientific potential of KazNU and stressed that the university pays special attention to the commercialization of projects and their implementation in real production areas. "Our main principles are openness, clarity and sustainability. We are always ready to develop joint educational programs, research projects, and share experiences and knowledge", - Margulan Ibraimov said.
AIID President Elena Li, in turn, drew attention to the importance of strengthening the link between science and manufacturing and outlined the priorities of the future partnership.
Also at the meeting, AIID Director Saule Kozhebekova made a presentation on the activities of the Alliance for Innovative and Industrial Development. She announced the main projects of the alliance and the possibilities of cooperation with the university.
After a mutual exchange of views and discussions, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between KazNU and AIID. The participants noted that this document is the beginning of a fruitful scientific and innovative collaboration.
