Rector of KazNU took part in the CIS Countries Forum

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, took part in the XVIII Forum of creative and scientific intelligentsia of the CIS member states.

This year's meeting was dedicated to the theme "The Commonwealth of Independent States: new horizons for humanitarian cooperation"

This event, which has become a tradition, is one of the largest humanitarian venues in the CIS. The Forum plays an important role in organizing joint work in the fields of culture, education, science, archives, information and mass communications, sports, tourism and youth work.

The international event was attended by the heads of the Ministries of Culture of the CIS member states, university rectors, intellectuals, experts, famous scientists, poets and writers, and art masters.

Within the framework of the two-day forum, panel sessions and discussion platforms were organized, where issues such as the contribution of the CIS peoples to the Great Victory, traditions and innovations in culture, current trends in science and education, as well as the role of the media in shaping the unified information space of the CIS were discussed.

It is worth noting that the forum of creative and scientific intelligentsia of the CIS member states has been held since 2006 in the capitals of the CIS countries. Its work is coordinated by the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member States.
