Academics of Central Asia and China got acquainted with scientific projects of KazNU

Within the framework of the II Central Asia–China Summit, a special tour was organized for the participants of the II International Forum of Academics.
A group of academics from Central Asian and Chinese countries visited the administrative building of the KazNU Rector's Office for the first time and got acquainted with the history of the university. The museum presented to the attention of foreigners the progress of the development of the campus in different years.
Then the guests of honor visited the Farabi Hub Center for Innovative Products and High-Tech Projects, the Center for Industrial Robotics, and a supercomputer Cluster launched as part of the 90th anniversary of the educational institution.
The foreign guests also received information about the results of ongoing scientific and innovative projects. Academic scientists shared their opinions, showing interest in the scientific developments of the university researchers.
During the visit, the forum participants visited the Kazakh-Chinese Laboratory for Remote sensing of the Earth. Here they got acquainted with the progress of work on the study of natural phenomena occurring as a result of climate change in the Central Asian region.
It should be noted that the II International Forum of academics, which will be held on the basis of KazNU, is organized within the framework of the II Summit of heads of state "Central Asia – China". The large-scale event is being implemented jointly by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as Xi'an Jiaotong University.
The forum meeting will begin tomorrow at the Farabi Library.
