An internship for Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics teaching staff at Samruk-Green Energy LLP

As part of the strategic partnership between the university and Samruk-Green Energy LLP, faculty members participated in an industrial internship at renewable energy facilities. The internship programme's objectives included facilitating knowledge exchange, acquiring current industry information, and enhancing the scientific and educational capabilities in the area of modern energy technologies.
Over the course of 10 days, the participants visited existing solar, wind and small hydroelectric power plants. Particular attention was paid to the topics of energy system optimisation, energy-saving technologies, engineering solutions and materials used in wind power installations. At the renewable energy sites, teachers held meetings with technical specialists, collected production requests, and identified promising areas for joint R&D.
The results of the internship will be used to improve the content of educational programmes in the fields of technical physics, thermal power engineering, and standardisation and certification. Particular emphasis is placed on the training of third- and fourth-year students and master's students, for whom it is important to gain practical knowledge relevant to the current challenges facing the energy industry. This format of interaction allows real production tasks to be integrated into the educational process and helps future specialists develop the skills that are in demand in the field of sustainable and efficient energy.
