The “TOURISMKAZ” Mobile Application Was Presented at the China-Kazakhstan International Cultural Tourism Digitalization Forum

In June 2025, the China-Kazakhstan International Cultural Tourism Digitalization Forum took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The forum received high praise and strong support from the Kazakhstani government, tourism sector representatives, media, and television. Representatives of major Chinese digital platforms also attended the event, marking the beginning of a new phase of digital cooperation in the cultural and tourism spheres between China and Kazakhstan.

At the forum, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Aliya Sagyndykovna Aktymbayeva, introduced an innovative digital tourism initiative — the “TOURISMKAZ” mobile application. Representatives of the forum organizer, Guangzhou Zowoyoo Network Technology Co., Ltd. — an international platform providing smart marketing and technological services for tourism organizations — expressed keen interest in the project and showed willingness to collaborate in bringing “TOURISMKAZ” to the global market.

Aliya Sagyndykovna outlined the main ideas of the project: integrating tourism services through a mobile application, developing digital infrastructure, and expanding international cooperation. The company representatives became familiar with the platform’s capabilities and confirmed their interest in future collaboration.

As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to work together on joint projects, scientific and technological cooperation, and internship programs for students. This initiative aims to elevate digital tourism in Kazakhstan to a new level.
