A Name Etched in the History of Law: Unveiling of the Memorial Plaque to Y.G. Basin

On June 24, 2025, a solemn unveiling of a memorial plaque took place in Almaty in honor of Yuriy Grigoryevich Basin — an outstanding lawyer, Doctor of Law, professor, and Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The memorial plaque was installed on the house where Yuriy Grigoryevich lived: 50 Amangeldy Street (corner of Kazybek bi Street).

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the legal community, colleagues, students, faculty, and relatives of Yuriy Grigoryevich.
