PhD Defense of Sinology Doctoral Candidate Successfully Held at Al-Farabi KazNU

On June 24, 2025, at the dissertation council for the group of educational programs "6D020900, 8D02209 – Oriental Studies" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Anar Rataevna Ibraimova, a doctoral candidate of the Department of Chinese Studies, successfully defended her dissertation on the topic "Linguocultural Features of Etiquette Norms in the Kazakh and Chinese Languages."

Her research focused on the comparative analysis of etiquette expressions in Kazakh and Chinese languages, exploring their linguocultural meanings and their role in intercultural communication.
