The final meeting of the Academic Council was held

   On June 25, 2025, the final meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Oriental Studies was held. The following main issues were considered on the agenda of the meeting: 1. Report of the heads of departments on the work done for the 2024-2025 academic year. 2. Report of scientific research centers. 3. On the recommendation of textbooks for printing.

   On the first issue, the heads of the departments of "Far Eastern", "Chinese studies", "Middle Eastern and South Asian", "Turkish studies and the History of the East" summed up the work for the academic year. In addition, they shared the main directions of the department and plans for future development.

   In turn, the dean of the faculty N.B. Em having analyzed the activities of the departments and highly appreciating the goals achieved, awarded the heads of departments with letters of thanks.

   The directors of the research centers also presented their reports on the research work carried out during the year.

   On the following issue, the members of the Academic Council reviewed the teaching manuals of the faculty and, after discussion, made a decision by voting.

   In general, in the 2024-2025 academic year 11 meetings of the Academic Council were held in accordance with the approved work plan. The Academic Council of the Faculty of Oriental Studies will actively continue its work to improve the quality of education, develop scientific research, and strengthen international relations in the next academic year.

   At the end of the final meeting, the Chairman of the Academic Council N.B. Em, thanked the members of the Academic Council for their active work in the 2024-2025 academic year and wished the faculty success in the new academic year!
