
Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation from the OFM Private Hospital located in Antalya (Turkiye).
The delegation included Turgay Birsez, the founder and director of the hospital, Cem Mutlu, the chief physician, and Etem Taner, a specialist in brain and nervous surgery.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening partnership in the field of medicine and the implementation of joint scientific projects. Zhanseit Tuimebayev told the guests about the achievements of KazNU, including scientific and innovative projects implemented in the field of medicine.
The Faculty of Health and Medicine, where Kazakhstani and foreign students study, is successfully operating on the basis of KazNU. The Brain Institute at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology has also been established.
The rector proposed to launch an academic mobility program to share experiences with the Scientific institute and the Medical Faculty of KazNU. He also invited OFM Hospital scientists to give leadership lectures for the university.
In turn, Turgai Birsez, founder and director of the OFM private hospital, expressed support for these initiatives and expressed his readiness to work closely with KazNU.
