Al-Farabi KazNU Strengthens Tourism Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

On June 25, 2025, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a joint meeting with representatives of tourism associations from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as members of the tourism community. The session was further enriched by the presence of delegates from the embassy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor’s office, and the municipal administration, underscoring the event’s significance.

The participants discussed collaboration opportunities, strategies for optimizing the logistics of tourist routes, and enhancing joint activities. Representatives of Al-Farabi KazNU expressed strong interest in building strategic partnerships and emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation for the further development of tourism and regional integration between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting was conducted in a constructive and professional atmosphere, with participants affirming their readiness to continue active collaboration in the future.
