Abiba Abuzhakynova received a diploma from KazNU

Abiba Abuzhakynova, a judo athlete and silver medalist at the Budapest World Championships, was awarded a diploma at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

 

The famous athlete completed her studies at KazNU and received her second higher education at the Faculty of Law with a degree in Law Enforcement.

During the graduation ceremony, Abiba Abuzhakynova sincerely thanked her teachers for their invaluable contribution to her education and constant support. "At the university, I received not only a second education, but also valuable life lessons. Here I was taught perseverance and perseverance in achieving goals, honesty and decency. These qualities help me to move forward and overcome any difficulties. Now I am actively preparing for admission to the master's program in order to continue my development and realize my professional plans",- Abiba Abuzhakynova said.

Abiba Abuzhakynova is the winner of the 3rd dan (IJF), competing in the weight category up to 48 kg. She won a silver medal at the World Championships in Budapest this year.

Abiba is the first Kazakhstani judoka to reach the podium of the World Championships three times. According to the results of the world judo ranking in 2023, the athlete entered the top five judoka in the world.

In 2023, Abiba became the winner of the Grand Prix tournament in Portugal, becoming the first representative of Kazakhstan in judo to win such a prestigious tournament. Finally, in the spring of 2024, at the pre-Olympic World Championships in the United Arab Emirates, she won the bronze medal again, defeating Turkish athlete Tux Beder in a duel for third place.
