Graduates of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology were awarded diplomas

The Farabi Hub hosted a graduation ceremony for graduates of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.  This year, the faculty has graduated 284 bachelor's and 134 Master's degrees.

In total, 7 080 students graduated from the university. Of these, 5 410 received bachelor's degrees, 1 163 received master's degrees, and 507 received doctoral degrees. 1 404 graduates became holders of diplomas with honors.

On the solemn stage, decorated in a biological theme, the participants of the event listened to the speeches of the vice-rector, dean, parents and students. Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Alina Galeeva read out a congratulatory letter   Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, for graduates. The Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Professor Adilkhan Sultanov, also spoke at the event. "Today you are entering a new, more complex, but also more exciting life. The knowledge you have gained will form the basis of your future research and achievements in biology and biotechnology. We believe in you and your potential", - said the dean, addressing the graduates.

The parents of Bakhtiyar Ibadillaev and Kenzhe Ibadillayeva, a graduate and an active participant in the student dean's office of the Faculty of Aida Khamitova, also expressed their gratitude.

After warm words of congratulations, each of the graduates proudly took to the stage, accepting their diplomas from the hands of the teachers.

Parting words at the end of the ceremony were delivered by the graduates, who thanked the teachers and their families for their support and knowledge, which became the key to their success. "We are glad that we have walked this path together. We are confident that the education we have received here is only the beginning of our journey", - they stressed in their speeches.
