On July 1, 2025, the Faculty Fair Farabi Hub was held on the alley of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized in honor of the visit of high-level guests — deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Directorate and the Public Council of KazNU.

The Faculty of Physics and Technology showcased cutting-edge developments and innovative projects demonstrating the university’s scientific and applied potential in the fields of physics, materials science, nanotechnology, nuclear energy, and sustainable development.

Particular interest was drawn by the presentation of Associate Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics and New Materials Technology, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Daniyar Ismailov. He demonstrated the results of joint applied projects with Dmitry Chernyshov:

  • Fullerene-based detox water with pronounced antioxidant properties;

  • Cosmetic additives and functional compounds for skin and hair care, based on carbon nanostructures.

These developments confirm the faculty's strong potential in translating scientific knowledge into the real economy and the health industry.

Participation in the event directly contributes to the following UN Sustainable Development Goals:

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: by developing academic environments, promoting interdisciplinary approaches, and integrating innovation into teaching;

  • SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: through engagement in applied high-tech projects and collaboration with industrial partners.
