KazNU students to speak at the final of the innovation competition in Shanghai

The team of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has qualified for the finals of the Chinese International Student Innovation Competition 2025 in the Central Asian region.

The KazSensorMaterials team, headed by Tolagai Duisebayev, included students Lyazzat Abdizhalilova, Aydana Bakytzhan and Ayan Tleu of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of KazNU. They study in the specialty "Radio Electronics and Telecommunications".

The guys confidently overcame all the competitive stages, demonstrating a high level of engineering training, originality of solutions and close-knit teamwork. The team's project was highly appreciated by experts and recognized as one of the best at the regional level.

In the fall of 2025, KazSensorMaterials will represent KazNU and Central Asia at the Grand Finals, which will be held in Shanghai (China). The finals of the competition will bring together the strongest student teams from Central Asia and China to demonstrate their innovative developments and compete for victory.
