The undergraduates successfully defended their dissertations under the double degree program

2nd–year undergraduates of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, the educational program "7M07101 - Petrochemistry" of the al—Farabi Kazakh National University — Talgar Serik, Azymbay Abzal, Serikkyzy Akerke, Tleuberdinova Aruzhan, and Zabara Nazar — successfully defended their master's theses within the framework of the international double degree program at one of the leading universities in Europe - Claude Bernard Lyon University 1 (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1), France.
The training and scientific work of undergraduates took place in close cooperation with foreign scientific supervisors, which allowed not only to deepen professional knowledge in the field of petrochemistry, but also to gain valuable experience in conducting scientific research in an international academic environment. The dissertation topics were devoted to topical issues of modern petrochemistry and catalysis, and were distinguished by their high scientific novelty and practical significance.
French academic supervisors highly appreciated the level of training of our undergraduates, noting their dedication, perseverance, hard work and the ability to finish what they started at a high level.
At the end of their studies, graduates will receive two diplomas — a master's degree from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and a diploma from Claude Bernard Lyon University 1, which opens up wide professional prospects for them both in Kazakhstan and abroad.
Congratulations to the undergraduates on their successful defense and wish them further success in their scientific and professional activities!
