KazNU students attend summer school at Xinjiang University

For the second time, students, undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are taking part in the summer school organized on the basis of Xinjiang University.

The opening ceremony was held in Urumqi, where the participants were greeted by the Vice President of Xinjiang University, Professor Jin Gang. In his speech, he stressed the importance of developing friendly relations between Kazakhstan and China, as well as the importance of academic partnership between universities. The professor noted that such educational initiatives contribute to the mutual enrichment of scientific and cultural experience, the development of interuniversity dialogue and the expansion of the horizons of knowledge of young people.

The summer school program includes lectures by leading teachers and scientists from the Faculty of Geography and Remote Sensing at Xinjiang University, cultural events and field trips aimed at sharing experiences in the field of sustainable environmental management, geographical research and environmental protection.
