KazNU professors – at the Esri User Conference 2025
Professors of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the Esri User Conference 2025, the largest and most authoritative international event in the field of geographic information systems (GIS), which was held in San Diego (USA).
The conference brought together over 20,000 scientists and experts from more than 140 countries.
KazNU representatives, participating in this prestigious event, were able to get acquainted with the latest global achievements and best practices in the field of geotechnology.
The first Esri User Conference was organized in 1981 by the founder of Esri, Jack Dangermond. Today, it is a key professional platform that unites leading experts, researchers and practitioners from all over the world.
The motto of this year's conference is "GIS – Integrating Everything, Everywhere", which means "GIS – unites everything and everywhere". This highlights the key role of geoinformation technologies in a wide variety of fields.
KazNU teachers adequately represent Kazakhstan, share their experience and expand the horizons of knowledge at the international level.
