KazNU scientists have won 110 new scientific projects

110 scientific projects of scientists of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University have become winners of competitions for grant and program-targeted financing for 2025-2027.

 

By the decision of the National Scientific Councils (NSC), in accordance with the priority directions of science development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the following projects of KazNU scientists were approved and received funding:

  • Within the framework of the competition for grant financing of postdoctoral students, "Zhas galim" won 31 scientific projects for a total amount of 921,966,077.52 tenge.
  • There are 8 projects in the grant financing competition for young scientists under the age of 40 for a total amount of 658,563,905.20 tenge.
  • 65 projects totaling 7.15 billion tenge won the general grant financing competition.
  • 6 projects worth 2.77 billion tenge were approved for program-specific financing.

All these projects are recognized as significant for the development of Russian science.

KazNU ranks first in the country in terms of the number of scientific projects being implemented. In 2025, the university is carrying out 424 research and development activities for a total amount of 15.8 billion tenge.
