THE CHINESE DELEGATION GOT ACQUAINTED WITH THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF KAZNU

A delegation from one of China's leading universities, Zhejiang University, specially arrived at al-Farabi Kazakh National University and got acquainted with the campus in detail.

The delegation, led by the head of the group, Mr. Wang Zheng, consists of university staff, scientists and young researchers. First, they visited the historical museum of the university, immersed themselves in the history of the formation and achievements of the educational institution.

The delegation was very interested in KazNU's research infrastructure and innovative development areas. The guests visited the laboratories located at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, including the Center for Remote Sensing of the Earth, and got acquainted with the progress of scientific projects. An exchange of views with scientists on current research in the field of ecology, geoinformation systems, sustainable development and rational use of natural resources took place here.

Also, as part of the campus tour, the guests visited the Al-Farabi Museum in the KazNU library. They got acquainted with the spiritual heritage of the great thinker and paid special attention to the exposition, which has high cultural and scientific value.

At the end of the meeting, the Chinese delegation thanked the university staff for their hospitality and highly appreciated the role of KazNU as an international scientific and educational center.
