THE SQUARE AND ALLEY ON THE TERRITORY OF KAZNU ARE BEING UPDATED

Currently, an intensive reconstruction of the square and alley on the territory of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is underway. Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev got acquainted with the progress of the work. He personally inspects the progress of repair work, checking the quality of their performance.

The head of the university checked the quality of the progress of the work and noted that he himself keeps under direct control the progress of their implementation. The goal is to update the appearance of the university and provide students and staff with a cozy and beautiful public space.The project was supported by the office of Akim of Bostandyk district of Almaty as a customer, and the work is carried out by NiKonstroy company.

The previously dismantled granite slabs are currently being exported. The packaged items are transported to the warehouse area in the courtyard of the Technopark. Fragmented parts and fragments are sent to the construction site of educational buildings. By this time, the 600 square meter area has been completely cleared and prepared for a new stage.

"As part of the project, it is planned to lay modern Kurtin brown granite slabs. The new slabs will have a size of 150x150x50 mm, the pattern will be designed in accordance with the general stylistic concept of space. In addition, the concrete layer under the sidewalk is being restored and a special granite powder is being laid. This material is stable and durable," commented Aitu Konysbayev, Director of the Capital Construction Department.

In the future, the renovated space will become an indispensable place for walking, relaxing, reading books outdoors or meeting friends.

KazNU proves once again that it is not only a center of education and science, but also a modern university that forms a comfortable and attractive campus culture.
