A SCIENTIFIC PAPER ON PRESIDENTIAL DIPLOMACY IS PRESENTED

The official presentation of the monograph "Diplomacy of President Tokayev", prepared by experts from the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KISI) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The board was attended by leading experts, well-known public figures, representatives of the Ministry, teachers and researchers from universities.

The meeting was opened by the rector of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev. He emphasized that holding such an important scientific event at the university contributes to the formation of a diplomatic culture of young people.:

"The monograph offered to your attention is a unique work devoted to an in–depth analysis of the new stage of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. This work will comprehensively consider the experience of our country, which has managed to maintain strategic independence and ensure stability in a changing international situation", - Zhanseit Tuimebayev said.

In his speech, the head of the university emphasized not only the scientific, but also the political and practical significance of the monograph: "The concept of "rational multi-vector", based on the diplomatic principles of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, serves as an example of both theoretical and practical significance in the study of modern international relations"

Moderator of the event, Scientific Secretary of the KISI Aigul Kosherbayeva, gave a brief overview of the structure and content of the monograph and gave the floor to the authors of the work.

The authors of the monograph, Sanat Kushkumbayev and Yerbolat Seilekhanov, the chief researchers of the KISI, analyzed in detail the substantive aspects of the foreign policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym–Jomart Tokayev in their reports.

In his speech, Sanat Kushkumbayev noted that President Tokayev's diplomacy is based on three basic principles – continuity, pragmatism and multi-vector approach. These principles make it possible to effectively protect the country's interests in the international arena and harmoniously pursue foreign policy even in conditions of geopolitical instability.

Erbolat Seylekhanov conducted an in-depth analysis of the impact of global challenges -crises, climate change and other international events on Kazakhstan's foreign policy. According to him, these issues are clearly studied in the monograph and scientifically based conclusions are presented.

The official reviewer of the monograph, Vice-rector of the Eurasian Technological University Askar Nursha, paid special attention to the scientific weight of the work. He assessed the publication as a comprehensive work reflecting international relations, Kazakhstan's place in the global system and expressed confidence that it would become an indispensable tool for researchers and the diplomatic corps.

Also participating in the open discussion were: Zhanibek Abdrashov, Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Bolat Tlep, representative of the UN Department of Global Communications in Almaty, Sultan Akimbekov, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of KazNU. al-Farabi Zhuldyz Sairambayeva, Director of the Center for Topical Studies "Alternative" Andrey Chebotarev, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Herman Kim, Director General of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Saduakasova, Head of the Political Cooperation Department of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Almasha Arenova and other experts.

The monograph highlights Kazakhstan's active initiatives within international organizations such as the United Nations, the SCO, and the country's contribution to regional and global security. The issues of interaction between domestic reforms and foreign policy, initiatives for cooperation and integration in Central Asia, climate and activity within the framework of the "green" agenda are also included.
