An introductory meeting with students of the 1st year (SDG 4-Quality Education)

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held its traditional meeting with first-year students as part of orientation week. The event was organised by advisors A. Kuikabayeva, A. Nurmukhanova, E. Nurymov, G. Taymanova and G. Ilyasova.

The students got acquainted with the university campus and visited the Keremet Student Service Centre. In addition, library staff conducted an informative tour for the first-year students, telling them in detail about the library's collections and services. The students received answers to their questions and gained useful information.

During the meeting, the head of the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics, Saltanat Bolegenova, and the deputy head, Zhanar Shortanbayeva, warmly welcomed the students and wished them success in their studies.

The first-year students noted that they were proud to have been admitted to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
