Leadership lectures for students were held at KazNU

Open lessons and leadership lectures were organized at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in honor of Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new academic year.

The vice-rectors conveyed congratulations to the first-year students from the Chairman of the Board of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

Then, experienced teachers, professors, government and public figures, as well as experts in various fields expressed their wishes for the success of the youth on the path to knowledge.

At the Faculty of Philology, one of the lectures was devoted to the topic "Literature is the soul of the nation". People's Writer of Kazakhstan Smagul Elubai spoke about the importance of literature in the formation of national identity, spiritual values and identity.

Former Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ex-Chairman of the International Court of the Eurasian Economic Union, Professor Musabek Alimbekov spoke at the Faculty of Law. In his lecture, he emphasized the importance of legal education and active civic participation in building a just society. He called on the youth to respect the law, feel personally responsible for the future of the country and strive for sustainable development.

Doctor of Philology, Professor Dandai Yerkakuly, after giving a lecture on the topic "The essence of Abai's teaching", presented an in-depth analysis of the philosophical legacy of the great thinker, focusing on its relevance in the modern world and its significance for the spiritual development of a person.

At the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Professor Zhakypbek Altaev gave a lecture on the role of political culture and philosophical foundations in the formation of leadership qualities among young people. He paid special attention to issues of ethics, human values and principles of justice.

These lectures contributed to a deep understanding by young people of the importance of national culture and spirituality, the formation of a sense of civic responsibility and the strengthening of the desire to contribute to the development of the country.

For students, these meetings have become not only a source of theoretical knowledge, but also an opportunity to gain life experience and valuable guidance. Such events play an important role in the comprehensive development of students and help them develop as sought-after specialists needed by the state in the future.

The lectures held as part of the Knowledge Day opened the way for students to self-actualize in a new educational environment, learn new knowledge and science, and become future leaders.

On the first day of the new academic year, the university solemnly welcomed the students: a themed photo zone was designed for them, music was played and a festive atmosphere prevailed.
