The Significance of Abai's Teachings

On September 2, 2025, the leading researcher of Abai Research Institute, Doctor of Philology, Professor Dandai Ysqaquly, delivered a leadership lecture on the topic: “The Significance of Abai’s Teachings” for the first-year students of the Faculty of Philology. The lecture touched upon the goals and objectives of “Abai’s Teachings” course, its importance, the role of Abai’s works in socio-cultural relations and spiritual worldview, as well as the principles of morality and humanism set out in “Abai’s Code of Humanity.” The professor analyzed the leadership qualities that are shaped in a person through Abai’s creative heritage and their significance.
In addition, during the lecture, Professor Toregeldy Tuyakbai emphasized the importance of Abai’s teachings in fostering intellectual wealth among the youth of the 21st century, strengthening the intellectual potential of society, preserving the historical memory of its members, and cultivating genuine respect and love for the people, society, the individual, and the Motherland. The lecture made a significant contribution to broadening the students’ spiritual horizons, their pursuit of knowledge, and the boundaries of their creative endeavors.
