A TEDx lecture by foreign experts was held
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a TEDx guest lecture organized by KazNU Higher School of Economics and Business.
International experts from Singapore and India spoke at the event, sharing their unique approaches to leadership, transformational thinking, and modern marketing.
Renowned coach and consultant Anne Phey opened the lecture by talking about the importance of strategic leadership and team effectiveness. She noted: "Leadership is not only about how to manage, but also how to inspire people to reach new heights". Her experience working with organizations such as Harvard Business School and IBM allowed her to share practical tips on digital transformation that had a significant impact on participants.

The next speaker was Woon Chet Chun, who presented his concept of leadership thinking based on the MECE structural approach. He stressed that "a true leader is able not only to see the whole picture, but also to understand the details". His ideas were supported by students who were inspired by successful work with large corporations such as Fujifilm and Honda.
Dr. Alka Chadha, a physician and coach from India, shared her unique philosophy of "water wisdom", teaching students the skills of adaptability and change management. She said: "We must learn to change, just as water changes its course". Her approach to integrating medical expertise and leadership psychology was a new discovery for many of those present.

A veteran of the Indian army, Brigadier Sushil Bhasin, who presented the time management program "Time is Life: Every Second Counts", and the author of the book "Reinvent 4.0", the founder of the Addy startup, also shared their experience and knowledge.AI Edilyn Tia, who talked about how to create psychologically safe teams. The lecture, which brought together students, teachers and guests of the university, created a space for the exchange of knowledge, inspiration and motivation, which became the basis for personal and professional growth.
