Meeting with Moscow researchers on the transformation of the institute of parliamentarism

On September 6, the faculty hosted a meeting between the Deputy Dean for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Cooperation, Ainur Karybayeva, the head of the research project, candidate of political sciences, Ilya Pomiguev, and research fellow Polina Kopylova (Moscow, Russian Federation).

The topic of the project: «Transformation of the role of the executive power in the legislative process: a comparative study of post-Soviet states», implemented by the Laboratory of Parliamentary Studies of the Financial University with the support of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Russian Association of Political Science.

As part of a research expedition to Almaty, scientists conducted an expert survey and discussed issues of developing the institute of parliamentarism in Kazakhstan with colleagues from the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the meeting, the prospects of the research were discussed, and the importance of strengthening international scientific ties and developing cooperation between universities was emphasized.
