The staff of the Department of Chinese Studies Listened to the President’s Address to the People of Kazakhstan

On September 8, the academic and administrative staff of the Department of Chinese Studies listened to the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the nation.
In his speech, the Head of State placed special emphasis on the issues of the country’s socio-economic development, the improvement of education and science, the future of the younger generation, and the promotion of national values. The President stressed that the successful implementation of new initiatives largely depends on the active engagement and responsibility of every citizen.
While listening to the Address, the faculty highlighted the importance of the tasks outlined and discussed the provisions related to education and science. Particular attention was given to the initiatives aimed at ensuring quality education for youth, advancing scientific research, and strengthening international cooperation.
The lecturers of the Department of Chinese Studies expressed their readiness to contribute to the implementation of the priority areas outlined in the President’s Address.
