The Second Day of “PhD ORIENTATION WEEK” at KazNU: Meeting with NIIETF Director Bakyt Khaniyev. SDG 4 and SDG 17

On September 9, 2025, the second day of the “PhD ORIENTATION WEEK” for first-year doctoral students was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The audience was addressed by Bakyt Abayuly Khaniyev, Director of the Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics and PhD graduate of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. His lecture was devoted to the topic: “The Scientific Article as the Basis of the Dissertation: Practical Steps, Modern Standards, and Digital Tools.”

During the meeting, doctoral students were introduced to modern approaches to writing and publishing scientific articles, practical recommendations on dissertation structure, as well as digital tools that enhance the efficiency of research and its international recognition.

Participants

The event brought together more than 100 first-year PhD students from all faculties of the university, including the Faculty of Physics and Technology. The atmosphere of open communication allowed young researchers to gain valuable advice and ask questions to the expert.
